To access the Fund App, you will need your FundNet logon information. Please contact your office’s FundNet Administrator for your FundNet logon credentials or to have them reset

The Fund App is free to download and install. However, to access content, you must become a Fund Member. For more information on Fund membership, please see our Membership requirements.

Please note that in the absence of a Wi-Fi connection, The Fund App uses your phone’s cellular network connection to access and download content. Please check with your carrier to see whether you will be charged for usage, especially while traveling.

The Fund App works on any mobile Apple device (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) with iOS 7.0 or later. The Fund App also works on any mobile Android device (phone and tablet) with Android 4.0 or later. Unfortunately, Windows phones and tablet devices are not supported.

iOS
You can get the Fund App for free from the App Store for your Apple device. You can also download it to your device through the iTunes App Store. In order to use the App Store, you may need to upgrade to the latest version of the operating system, and the latest version of iTunes. The Fund App requires iOS 7.0 or later.

Android
You can get the Fund App for free from the Google Play Store for your Android device. You can also download it to your device through the Google Play App Store. In order to use the Google Play App Store, you may need to upgrade to the latest version of the operating system, and the latest version of the Google Play Store. The Fund app requires Android version 4.0 or later.

No. Because membership with The Fund is required to access the app, you must be able to connect and verify your logon credentials with a Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

To remove the Fund App, follow the same procedure that you'd use for any other mobile application.

For an iOS device, touch and hold the Fund App icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the X in the corner of the icon, then confirm the deletion in the window that appears.

For an Android device, navigate to your devices settings, select the “Apps” or “Application Manager” submenu item and select the Fund App. You may have to swipe left or right to find the app. Touch the “uninstall” or “disable” button to remove the app from your device.

You can use the Fund App to search the available articles or resources from The Fund.com. The Search screen can be accessed by tapping the “Search” icon on the right side of the bottom toolbar. To search, enter your search term at the top of the screen, select the information category you wish to search through and tap the “Search” button.

If there is breaking news, The Fund will send you a push notification to your mobile device. When logging into the app for the first time on your device, you should be prompted to allow receiving push notifications. If you accept, you will receive a notification about any breaking news.

If you would like to turn on or off push notifications for your device, navigate to the app settings by tapping the “gear” icon on the right side of the top toolbar. Under the “My Settings” section, tap “Push Notifications” to toggle the notifications on or off.

To “save” an article for later, you must bookmark it. Any news or information article, including Fund Title Notes, can be bookmarked. To bookmark an article, navigate to the article you wish to save and tap the gray “Bookmark +” bar under the article title. To access any of your saved bookmarks, tap the “Bookmark” icon in the middle of the bottom toolbar.

To change the app font size, open the Fund App settings by tapping the “gear” icon on the right side of the top toolbar. Under the “My Settings” section, tap either “Normal”, “Large” or “X-Large” to set the app font size.
